Mukh Mantri Punjab Cancer Raahat Kosh is a cancer therapy product. The Mukh Mantri Punjab Cancer Raahat Kosh Scheme was established by the Punjab government in order to provide financial help to cancer sufferers in Punjab. Except for Government employees, ESI employees and their dependents, those patients who have any kind of medical reimbursement facility, or any other persons who have opted for Health Insurance by Insurance companies, each cancer patient receive financial help of up to INR. 1.50 lakhs (one lakh fifty thousand rupees) for treatment. The Mukh Mantri Punjab Cancer Raahat Kosh Society has set aside up to INR 1.50 lakhs for the treatment of all cancer patients, with the exception of government employees and those with health insurance coverage. The Health Department provides free treatment to cancer-stricken schoolchildren. Every cancer patient, with the exception of government employees and those who have health insurance coverage, inter-State Illness Fund through Punjab Nirogi Society.
