The Dr Ambedkar Medical Aid project aims to provide hospital attention to scheduled caste and scheduled tribe individuals whose family income is less than Rs.1,00,000/- P.A. who are suffering severe diseases requiring surgery of the kidney, heart, liver, cancer, brain, or any other life-threatening diseases, including surgical treatment and spinal surgery. Patna Medical College Hospital is located in the city of Patna, Bihar. Jabalpur Hospital and Research Centre are located in the city of Jabalpur in the state of Madhya Pradesh. Guwahati, Assam's Barua Oncology Institute. West Bengal's Birla Heart Foundation is based in Kolkata. Kalinga Hospital Limited is a company based in Kalinga, India. Bhubaneswar, Orissa, Chandrashekharpur, Chandrashe Mumbai, Maharashtra: Tata Cancer Research Institute. Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh: Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences Chennai's voluntary health services. All CGHS-approved hospitals, as reviewed from time to time by India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and all state government medical colleges associated hospitals, even if not covered by the CGHS plan. Either the federal or state governments fund all hospitals. All government hospitals in district headquarters/major cities provide surgery or therapy for kidney, heart, liver, brain cancer, and any other life-threatening ailment, including knee and spinal surgery. Any hospital outside of the approved list can be sought for eligible treatment in extreme situations where the chairperson is personally satisfied with the genuineness and reason for the necessity to cover it.
